The Royal Mankon "Abeungafo" or Fon's Dance is actually the dance for the Mankon population organised at the Mankon palace plaza. It takes place during the biennial Mankon Cultural festival or Mboumala. The 2009 version was a twin event because the Mankon people were also celebrating the Golden Jubilee of the 20th Fo of Mankon, HRH Fo S.A.N. Angwafo III.
